Eternal Atake Is Lil Uzi Vert’s “Best Body of Work”
Late Thursday night, early Friday morning, self-proclaimed rockstar Lil Uzi Vert spoke to his fans in a short burst of tweets about his very long-awaited album Eternal Atake. Fans have been waiting almost two years for this specific project while Lil Uzi teased it during his musical break. Fans once speculated that it would never come out. Towards the middle of 2019, he brought back the hype and promised a 2020 release date.
Uzi tells his fans that Eternal Atake is his best body of work and it’ll bring the good vibes from 2016 back to christen the new decade. The Philadelphia rapper is determined to complete this mission. He’s gone to the lengths to change his famously unpredictable hair into a bright, neon orange dye job. If that doesn’t scream warm feelings and high energy, I don’t know what does.

Lil Uzi Opens Up About Grandmother’s Health
Early Thursday afternoon, multi-platinum rapper Lil Uzi Vert took to Twitter to open up to his fans. He revealed that his grandmother, who took care of him during his adolescence, has been battling serious medical complications for past few months. Without going into too much detail about such a personal matter, Lil Uzi explained that a few months ago her doctor discovered “a tumor over her eye”. The tumor was partially removed, but upon her initial awakening post-operation, she had a stroke and lost mobility in the left side of her body. This seemed to be a major setback in recovery, but with rehabilitation and plenty of love and support from himself and their family, she’s out of the hospital now and doing much better.
The rapper needed time to understand the sudden circumstances before involving the public. He posted another tweet saying, “I Been Flexing So Hard And Buying The World [] Because Deep Down I’m Hurt.” For such a young man, this situation must have weighed greatly on his mind and heart. An experience we’ve all been through due to a loved one’s health. This explains exactly why he has been keeping new releases and his career on the back burner. As always, family comes first.
